Slider camera shots on the REALLY cheap
We don’t have a Kessler Cineslider ($1195) and a Revolution Head ($1895), but we have laptops ($free) and toilet paper ($free) and table ($free) to make a slider for your cutaway interview: ball up four 4-inch pieces of toilet paper, put one under each corner of your laptop, and slide away. S L O W L Y. Maybe with a push stick.

Epic slow mo on a budget
Believe it or not, our budget for this video (not counting the camera rental itself) was in the $150-$200 range when it was all said and done. Let me walk you through our entire weekend of filming and how we went about utilizing our resources to maximize production value.
